Privacy notice
How Amendorg handles the details you send us, and the work details we use to contact people in payments.
Who we are
Amendorg LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. You can reach us at contact@amendorg.com. This notice covers www.amendorg.com and the emails and LinkedIn messages we send to business contacts. Other sites we run have their own notices.
What we collect
When you send us the form, we receive what you type into it: your name, work email, company, the topic and scheme you chose, and your message.
When you visit, our server and our network provider process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site. Apart from the analytics below, which only run if you accept them, our pages set no cookies.
Cookies and analytics
Our cookie banner lets you accept all optional cookies, reject them, or choose by category under Preferences. Strictly necessary tools keep the site working and secure and are always on. We keep your choice in your browser's storage so we do not ask again on every page. We use no marketing or advertising cookies.
If you click Accept all, or turn on Analytics under Preferences, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that hold a random visitor ID for up to two years. It sends Google the pages you view, how you reached them, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. Google does not store your IP address. When you send the contact form, it records that a message was sent and its topic, never what you typed.
We have turned off Google's advertising features and Google signals, and Google deletes visit-level data after 14 months. If you click Reject all, leave Analytics off, or ignore the banner, no Google script loads and no cookie is set. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you and to follow up on your request. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Where it goes
- Form messages reach us through our own server and are kept in our own systems, with service providers that host them for us.
- If you accept analytics, visit data goes to Google Analytics, run by Google LLC in the USA.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and customer records while we are in contact with you and for as long as our records require. We delete them when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them.
If we contacted you
We contact people who work in payments, cards and finance at banks, card issuers and fintechs, to offer our scheme fee review. For this we use your name, job title, employer, work email address and public professional profile.
We find these details on your employer's website, on professional networking sites, in industry news and event listings, and through services that find and check work email addresses. We never buy contact lists.
We do this because we have a legitimate interest in offering a business service to the people whose work it concerns. We write only about your role, and only to your work address or on LinkedIn. Our first message says where we found your details.
We keep your details in our own systems, with service providers that host them for us. If you do not reply, we stop after two follow-ups, and we delete your details within 12 months of our last message unless we start working together.
You can tell us to stop at any time, by replying to our message or by emailing contact@amendorg.com. We then stop contacting you, and we keep only your name and email address on a do-not-contact list so that we never write to you again.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the details we hold about you. Email contact@amendorg.com and we will reply. If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
